When not to hire us
- The site is a year old and needs new text and photos. That is an edit, and we will tell you so instead of selling a rebuild.
- You want the same structure in new colours. A redesign that changes nothing about how the site is organised will not change what it brings in.
- Nobody on your side can say which pages bring the business today, and there is no analytics history to look at. We can still build, but the migration becomes guesswork and we will say so.

- How much does a website redesign cost?
- $800 to $2,500 for a single landing page, $3,000 to $7,000 for a five to ten page business site, $8,000 to $22,000 for a large one, $4,500 to $10,000 for a store. The calculator on our home page gives a range in about a minute, and the written scope fixes the number before work starts.
- Will a redesign hurt my search rankings?
- It can, and most of the damage comes from one mistake: old addresses that stop working after launch. We map every existing address to its new page, keep the pages that already earn traffic, and watch search data for thirty days after the move. Rankings usually wobble for a few weeks and then settle.
- How long does a redesign take?
- Four to six weeks for a small business site, six to ten for a large site or a store. The clock starts when the scope is approved and we have access to the current site and its analytics.
- Can you redesign a WordPress, Wix or Squarespace site?
- Yes. By default we rebuild it as a hand coded site, which loads faster and carries no monthly builder fee. If your team already edits comfortably in WordPress, we can stay there and rebuild the theme instead.
- Do I have to move my hosting?
- Usually yes, because a hand coded site does not need what a page builder needs, and hosting it costs less. The account stays in your name and we hand over the logins. If you are locked into a contract, we work with what you have.
- Can you redesign only part of the site?
- Yes. The home page and one inner template is a common start when budget is tight, and the rest follows later. We will tell you when that is a false saving, which is usually when the structure itself is what holds the site back.
- Do you guarantee more traffic after the redesign?
- No, and anyone who does is guessing. A redesign changes what the site does with the visitors it already gets and removes the technical reasons a page cannot rank. Getting more visitors is a separate and longer job, and we price it separately.
