Local SEO and Google Business Profile
Local SEO is the work behind the map block and the phrase near me: a complete Google Business Profile, service pages that name what you do and where you do it, and contact details that read the same everywhere. Near me is the biggest single piece of search demand we measured in this branch, at 22,200 searches a month in the US.
What you get
- Google Business Profile filled out properly: categories, services, hours, service area, photos, questions answered
- Service pages that say what you do and where, written once each rather than duplicated per town
- Name, address and phone identical on the site, the profile and the directories, because mismatches are what break the map block
- Directory listings the map block actually reads, done by hand, no paid submission service
- A review routine you can keep: who asks, when they ask and what they ask for
- Search Console and profile insights in one monthly note: calls, direction requests, searches you appeared for
How it works
- 01
Check
week 1
What your profile looks like to a stranger, what the map block shows for your main searches, who is above you and how many reviews they carry. That last number is usually the honest answer to why they rank.
- 02
Profile
week 1 to 2
Categories, services, description, hours and photos. Google account work is done from your account with you, we prepare the content and never take the profile over.
- 03
Pages
week 2 to 4
Service pages on your own site, with the contact details, service area and answers a caller usually asks for before they dial.
- 04
Reviews and upkeep
monthly
New photos, new questions answered, listings kept in sync, and a review routine that runs after each job rather than in one burst.
What it costs
Ranges, not a single number: the final figure is fixed in writing before we start. Responsive design and on page SEO are included, not add ons.
- Local SEO, monthly
- $250 / month
- One time setup
- $400 once
Profile upkeep, listings, new pages and the monthly report.
Profile, contact data, directories and the first service pages.
Work we have done
When not to hire us
- You have no address and no service area you can name. The map block is built on a real location, and there is no way around that.
- You want reviews bought or written for you. We will not do it, and it is the fastest way to lose the profile.
- You want one page per town for fifty towns you do not serve. Google treats those as doorways, and it is right to.
- Somebody else controls the Google account and will not give access. Nothing on the profile can be changed without it.
Questions
- How much do local SEO services cost?
- Ours is $250 a month with $400 once for the setup. The setup covers the profile, the contact data and the first service pages, and after that the monthly fee is the work: pages, listings, photos, the report.
- How do I show up in the map block?
- Three things decide it: how close you are to the person searching, how complete and active your profile is, and how many real reviews you carry. We can move the second and help you with the third. Distance is not something anyone can sell you.
- How many reviews do I need?
- Enough to sit alongside whoever is already in the block, and that number is different in every town. We count them in your search before we start, so you know what you are aiming at instead of guessing.
- Do you post to the profile for me?
- We write the content and it is published from your account. Google is strict about automated access to business profiles, and losing the profile costs far more than the convenience is worth.
- What does Google Business Profile Optimization do?
- It fills in what the profile is asking for: the right primary category, the services you actually offer, hours, a service area, photos and answers to the questions people leave. It does not move you closer to the searcher, and anyone implying otherwise is overselling.
